Doulton Imperial 7" Super Sterasyl Ceramic Water Filter
Best Use:
Note: The Imperial 7" super sterasyl filter has the exact same water filtering capabilities as the regular 7" super sterasyl element, with the exception that it is 3/4 inch larger in diameter, creating more ceramic surface area exposed to the water, allowing for approximately a 30% faster water filtration rate (8 gpd vs 5 gpd). Because there is also more media surface area in the granulated carbon core, there may also be a slight increase in the adsorption levels of chlorine, chemical and organics removal.
-
Sterasyl Outer Ceramic Shell- Microfilters >99.99% @ .5 microns filtering out sediment, algae, rust as well as bacteria and systs like e-coli, salmonella, cryptosporidium and giardia.
